Our Research

Dyslexia research, written so anyone can understand it — no dictionary tabs required.

The Problem

Academic research is hard to read if you're not already trained in that field. Papers assume you already know certain theories and vocabulary, so understanding one term can mean flipping between tabs over and over, until it's exhausting and you lose interest before you get an answer.

Our Approach

We write our research papers in plain, everyday language. No background in the field required, no jargon left unexplained, just the science behind dyslexia explained the way we wish it had been explained to us.

After deciding to write research papers of our own, we wanted them to stand apart from what's already out there. The one thing we all noticed while researching dyslexia ourselves: reading academic papers is hard, and in a way, exclusive. Understanding dense academic language takes real time and effort, especially if you're not used to reading research or don't already know a specific field. So instead of adding another paper to that pile, we're closing the gap — writing about the same science, in language anyone can follow.

Our First Papers Are Being Written

We're in the middle of writing our first research papers now. Once they're ready, they'll be published right here on this page, so check back soon.
